The Marwari is a rare breed of horse from the Marwari region of India. Known for its inward-turning ear tips this hot-blooded breed has recently received worldwide recognition as a supreme collection of distinctive beauty, a loyal hot-blooded war horse priding itself with its unique sensitivity.

The Kathiawari or Kathiawadi is a breed of horse from the Kathiawar peninsula in western India.

It was originally bred as a desert war horse for use over long distances, in rough terrain, on minimal rations. It is closely related to the Marwari horses of Rajasthan; both breeds have been influenced by imported Arab horses.
